Infinity Conference Group Client’s Continuing Medical Education Class posted on YouTube (Battlefield Acupuncture)
September 24, 2015 – Infinity Conference Group client’s continuing Medical Education Class posted on YouTube (Battlefield Acupuncture) as our Conference Planners are wrapping up Concurrent Meetings for FHWA and Walter Reed National Military Medical Center.
This month, Infinity Conference Group’s Conference Planning staff has been hard at work coordinating two September events. Under contract to the Defense Health Agency, one of two Infinity’s Conference Planner teams was recently dispatched to the Walter Reed National Military Medical Center to manage on-site conference planning logistics for a Pain Care Skills Training for military medical personnel (see Stars and Stripes news release here). Infinity provided conference staffing on-site at the hotel for pre-registration services and at the military hospital where the training classes occurred. Prior to going on-site, Infinity produced the training event website, prepared conference project plans, implemented daily conference planning tasks, and prepared conference materials. Infinity’s Senior Conference Managers, Linda Lohneis and Holly Harrington, co-conference managers, were responsible for conference management oversight throughout this large training, which was situated throughout the entire hospital complex. Doreen Albertson and Jessica Scrimshire were also on hand to help coordinate on-site registration and other facility logistics for over 350 medical personnel.
At the same time, under subcontract to Wycliffe Enterprises, another team of Infinity’s conference planners were on-site to provide conference management services for a Federal Highway Administration (FHWA) Meeting with over 100 meeting participants. In addition to meeting registration services, overseeing facility arrangements, and coordinating catering arrangements, Infinity’s support on this contract included meeting site selection and negotiation; name badge preparation; facility site visits; and general logistical support. This is the second year that Infinity is working with Wycliffe to provide conference planning services and this is the first year of a three-year subcontracting agreement between the two companies. Pam Jensen is Infinity’s Senior Meeting Planner on this project and Kathleen Berry is providing meeting planning support.
Doreen Albertson, Infinity Conference Group’s President, says “we are able to manage concurrent events, in the midst of planning future conferences and juggling non-profit association management projects, due to an experienced [amazing] staff that works together as a team and efficiently uses today’s non-profit management and conference planning applications.”
