Infinity Conference Group Teams with CSA Ocean Sciences to Provide Meeting Planning Support
March 18, 2016 - In our second year of a meeting planning contract with CSA Ocean Sciences, Inc. (CSA), a marine environmental consulting and applied sciences firm, Infinity and CSA are supporting the U.S. Department of the Interior’s Bureau of Ocean Energy Management (BOEM) in the public engagement for the development of the Programmatic Environmental Impact Statement for the 2017-2022 Outer Continental Shelf Oil and Gas Leasing Program.
The team is assisting in the public comment process during 2015-2016 year, which will take place across four cities across the U.S., including Washington, DC; the Gulf of Mexico; and Alaska between March and April. For more information: http://www.boem.gov/Five-Year-Program/
In addition to Infinity conducting the multiple venue site searches and executing contracts, Infinity is working closely with CSA and BOEM to develop and produce signage, print various topic fact sheets, implement meeting space design, arrange audio-visual equipment, hire security services, ship/distribute materials, and provide on-site meeting management and registration services.
Poojan Tripathi, BOEM’s Project Manager, stated, “The public engagement website will be extremely useful tool in presenting relevant and up-to-date information to stakeholders in the decision-making process and ensuring that the comments we receive directly inform the NEPA analysis we are presently embarking upon. We hope this innovative approach will set a new standard for the Bureau in engaging stakeholders in a meaningful and substantive way.”
