Shanard Starke

Shanard has nearly 10 years of experience in the event planning/management industry. He began his career with Towson University as an Event Technician and transitioned to an Event Manager at the university. He has planned and executed events across the following industries: Higher Education, K-12 Education, Sports, and Medical. His events have ranged from boutique-style meetings to larger events such as concerts and fashion shows. In recent years, Shanard has become experienced in virtual and hybrid events to better accommodate clients in this ever-changing world. His goal for every event is to “make the client’s vision come to life.”

As a Virtual Event Planner for INFINITY, Shanard facilitates logistics and supports virtual meetings for programs within the Eunice Kennedy Shriver National Institute of Child Health and Human Development (NICHD) at the National Institutes of Health (NIH). He enjoys working with different people and programs at NIH supporting both small and large events.

Shanard graduated from Towson University with a degree in Sports Management and from University of Baltimore with an MBA. When Shanard is not planning events, he can usually be found playing rugby or coaching the Towson University’s Men’s Rugby Club.
